In the heart of the world's most vibrant city, a significant shift is taking place within the walls of the French Chamber of Great Britain.
A new chapter is being written in the Chamber's illustrious history, as it welcomes François Landers as its new Managing Director.
A succession of kings
Landers succeeds David Lutton PhD, who held the role on an interim basis in 2023. The Chamber has extended its gratitude to Lutton for his significant contribution and has shared that he will continue to serve as Director of External Affairs.
"François Landers, with his distinctive Anglo-French background, brings a wealth of experience which will be instrumental in driving the Chamber’s success and growth," says Fabienne Viala, President of the French Chamber.
Experienced Director for a Strong Institution
With over 15 years of experience in business and membership organisations, Landers brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His track record of fostering robust member engagement and driving commercial income is particularly noteworthy. Prior to his appointment, Landers served as the Director of Membership at the Royal United Services Institute for nearly five years.
"I am honoured and excited to take on the role of Managing Director at the French Chamber of Great Britain, contributing to the ongoing dialogue between France and the United Kingdom." says François Landers.
The French Chamber of Great Britain was established in 1883 and is one of the most active business networks in the UK. With over 400 companies of all sizes and sectors in its membership, it is the hub of key relationships, conversations, insights and support for Franco-British business.
