On 8 and 9 March 2022, France Angels and Business Angels Europe organise the leading event on early stage investing in Europe, with the goal of highlighting the crucial role of business angel investors for startups on the road to scaleups.

Taking place during the French Presidency of the European Council, the 1.5-day congress has the core aim to advance the discussion among policymakers, entrepreneurs, and early-stage investors on the role of angel investing in the Scaling Up challenge. Founders of unicorn companies who have been supported by angel investors from early on, will be speaking about their journey together. Furthermore, key sessions on leveraging the power of European co-investment funds and the strength of the French Madelin instrument will feature as essential parts.

Importantly, we place the excellence of the French startup ecosystem front-and-center. A core part of the event is to connect promising French startups who aim to scale in Europe, with Europe’s strongest business angels networks. Specifically, the program will focus on three priorities, mirroring those brought forward by the European Commission: diversity, impact, and healthcare.
